What is the difference between CMYK and RGB?
The CMYK color mode is used for print products. In digital applications, the RGB color mode is typically used. This is because e.g., in the offset printing process 4 plates with the respective primary colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) are used. If you do not change the color mode before printing, there will be color distortions because the RGB color mode can represent more colors than CMYK.
Why do I need a vector file (eps) of my logo?
Having a vector file of a logo is very convenient and useful. In many print media, the logo is reduced in size, but often also enlarged. If the file does not exist as a vector graphic, the logo will become pixelated at a certain size and the edges will no longer be smooth. Also, a vector file is useful if you want to plot the logo, e.g. for car or shop window stickers. After the logo development, you will receive your logo in all common formats (jpg, pdf, png) and of course also as a vector file.
Why do my pictures do not necessarily have the right resolution to be printed on my image flyer?
In order to achieve good image resolution, the image must be of sufficient print quality – ideally 300 dpi. The higher the resolution of the print product, the more MBytes are required to ensure that the image is not pixelated and blurred. Mobile phone pictures, for example, are difficult to print on a roll-up or poster, since the picture quality is poor at this size. Send us your images and we will check for you whether the image resolution is sufficient for your print project or not.
